The S-5-Q clamp (“Q” represents the shape of the clamp) allows for the attachment of snow guards and other heavy-duty applications to metal roof panels featuring large, round (such as Zip-Rib®, BEMO, Kalzip®) and similar “bulb” seam configurations up to 29mm diameter. 

The Q will also fit smaller, “bulb-shaped” profiles (dia ≤ 19 mm) if the seam is not properly closed. (Also, check out the more cost-effective S-5-Z for these applications when seams are properly closed).

Minis Available

The Q Mini clamp is a more economical solution for lighter-duty attachments where Herculean holding strength is not required. 

All standard and Mini clamps undergo rigorous load testing. Negative load normal-to-seam testing (pull-up) is performed on all Mini clamps, and parallel-to-seam testing (drag load) is performed on all standard clamps.
